Danbo on the Beach

Since I started reading the Stuck in Plastic blog, I’ve been wondering how I could mix things up to keep my photos interesting. They do such great work with Lego and are a huge inspiration for my own Lego shots over on Instagram, so it’s natural that I should want to take some of their lessons to heart with my photos here. They’ve given me a lot to think about!

One of the things I want to work on is getting more variety in my lighting and backgrounds. My “style” is great and I enjoy shooting it, but it ends up being a bit samey after awhile. I mean, week after week of the same front flood and back spotlights on different figures can be a bit boring.

With that in mind, I felt a change of venue was in order. A morning out on the beach with Danbo was just the thing.
